From THE cut to delivery
all stages of a completely handmade production.
Choice of fabric and the customers measurements
Ingridients and their dosage, fabric and the customers measurements are indispensable elements of a perfectly made bespoke suit that will never go out of fashion.
Preparing the model
The artisan piece has two authors: the client and the tailor. The pattern is the client’s simulacrum; it is the trace that the Maestro follows for the careful production of a jacket or trousers. Each customer has his own model and pattern.
The Cut
The making of a tailor-made suit means transforming a flat element like fabric into a tridimensional element. The cut is the fundamental passage. Aided by the pattern, but most of all by his thirty years’ experience, master Pasinato personalizes the fabric on the customer’s measurements.
The First fitting
Tailoring requires two elements: technique and patience. Making a jacket can take up to 50 hours: the tailor is crucial, but the customer plays an important role too. A good first fitting is essential foran excellent result. At this stage, we already see a glimpse of the finished product.
The Second fitting
Inches from the final goal, after hours of hard work, the tailor and the customer can taste the final result.
Final details
Another essential stage:the ironing, which gives the final shape to what the customer will wear. To iron a jacket in the correct manner can take hours. Then the buttons are attached, the lapel is controlled and so are the sleeves, the pockets and so on.
Delivery to the Customer
The finished product. The customer admires the final result, he then tries it on. A second skin, a uniform, a way of being. A tailored suit is all of this and much more.
